The Lyppard Grange Primary School Empowering children to be secure, engaged and equipped for life.

Reading:

Children should read for at least 30 minutes every day and record their reading activity in their Reading Journals. Books and reading journals should be brought into school every day.

 

Times tables:

Children should practise their allocated times tables on TTRock Stars for at least 30 minutes.  Congratulations to Mrs Tilley's class, who won this week's tournament between Year 4 & 5. Well done to every one who took part.

 

Science homework:

Over the last two weeks children have been learning about the sexual reproduction of some flowering plants.  For homework children need to design a 'bee friendly' garden. They should research the type of plants that are bee friendly. You can present your design in any format you like: hand drawn poster, computer generated poster, PowerPoint (if you choose this option please send your PowerPoints to: [email protected]). Below are some links to help you and some examples of bee friendly garden designs.
