We would like you to join us at 9am to where we will be looking at the effect that language, and specifically figurative language, has upon the reader. This will not only help you with this week’s task but also your writing.

Maths

Today we will be learning about time to support your learning for tomorrow. Your lesson today will focus on converting between analogue and digital and other units of time including hours, minutes, days, weeks, months and years. You need to watch the video for 27th January in the Video Resource Centre and then complete the activity below at your relevant level.

Number Magic

You need to complete your relevant level for Number Magic. If you want to challenge yourself, try completing the next level instead.

Theme

You need to complete your plan for your setting description of Next Door’s garden. This plan focuses on the language that you will use within your setting description. Please remember to send them to the home learning email addresses for feedback.

Spelling

We are continuing to focus on words ending in ‘ably’ and ‘ibly’. Today you need to practise your spelling words using look, cover, write, check.

PE

Today in PE we would like you to complete the training test. Judy from Zootropilis has to complete a training test to prove she’s got what it takes. See if you can complete it. Watch the video and then complete the challenge. How fast can you go?

Alternatively, complete an exercise of your choice such as going for a walk or playing football for a minimum of 30 minutes.
