The children have been learning about hyphens. We would like the children to complete the assigned hyphen activity on Bug Club.
Just a quick reminder that teachers will be checking children’s engagement with the activities on Bug Club. Children should be completing these activities fully to ensure they are further consolidating their knowledge of what has been taught in class.

We have set up another battle between 5HB and 5LB/NS. Last week 5HB won again, well done! Can they keep their winning streak this week?
Log on to Times Table Rockstar and take part in as many games as possible to help your class win. Log in details are on the inside cover of reading journals.
We would also like the children to complete 15 minutes of games on garage and 15 minutes of games on Studio.
Poems
The children began learning a section of a poem about one of the biomes we have been learning about in our new theme this week. They need to continue to practise this at home with actions to help them. This is to prepare them for our in-class poem performance next Friday! Please find the poems below.
