Healthy Cakes! Challenge 1!
We have really enjoyed the work that we needed to do in order to achieve the first of Mr Cadbury's Challenges. First, we all practised the skills that we would need; these included, grating, chopping, weighing, mixing and cracking an egg! Once our first batch was ready, we tasted our test cakes which contained one of the following: beetroot, carrot, apple, banana or courgette and decided which additional ingredient we preferred. We then designed our own recipe and created a second, finished cake, which we also decorated. We shared these at home with our families. They were delicious.
