Homework 25th June 2021

This week children have been learning about directions and have been using the language forwards, backwards, quarter turns, half turns, clockwise and anticlockwise to march like Roman soldiers.  For homework children should use Turtle software on Purple Mash to program the turtle using the language mentioned above.  Log in to Purple Mash through SIMS ID on the school website.  Your child has been set a 2DO and should click on the purple bell symbol which will take them to their task.  Homework should be completed by Wednesday 30th June.

Children should practice their times tables as there will be a Maths Challenge next Friday 2nd July.  To do this they should spend at least 30 minutes on TT Rock Stars.  There is one week left of the tournament and Mrs Tilley's class are currently in the lead, but there is still time for this to change.  It would be great to see every child taking part in the last tournament of the academic year.

 

There are lots of great books to read on Bug Club, so please choose one to peruse and complete the Bugs as you go.
