Heart Dissection
During our work on the circulatory system, we gave children the opportunity to dissect a lamb’s heart. They approached the task with great excitement and spent time exploring the different chambers and identifying the veins and arteries. Even though some of us felt a little squeamish at the prospect, we were really proud to see everyone join in and they all understood the workings of the heart much more clearly by the end.
