This week in our SpaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar) lessons we have been learning about apostrophes. Apostrophes can have two jobs; one job for apostrophes is apostrophes for contraction, where you are shortening words, such as don’t and shouldn’t. The other job of an apostrophe is to show when something belongs to someone, apostrophes for possession.

We have been focussing on apostrophes for possession this week. We would like you to have a go at either Challenge 1 or Challenge 2 to recap your learning.
