Timetable for the day

11.30am – Teams Meeting: Writing Input

We will be modelling how to write your persuasive letters, before you go off and do these yourself, so it would be great to see you there.

We only have one live meeting today, but will be available if you need to contact us for any help with anything.

Other tasks - you can do these at any time across the day

  • Number Magic- Day 4
  • Practical Maths activity
  • Bug Club Reading Task
  • Outdoor compass activity

Remember to pace yourself and do what you can. Please email in any work which you would like us to see – make sure you do this from your school email address or get your parents to do it.

Outdoor Activity

As the children in school are spending some time at Forest School today, Miss Goss has set a compass activity for you to complete.

Number Magic

Here is your number magic for today.

All of the answers are included so you can check your own work. Once you have marked it yourself, you can send it in to us if you wish, particularly if there is something you want some help with, but other we are happy for you to self-mark.

Theme-

Following on from our video call, below is your success criteria for your persuasive letter. Remember, this is a formal letter and can be either hand-written or typed.

Maths

Your maths activity today is a little different, as we have designed a practical activity for you to do which involves inventing your own new unit of measure! All of the instructions are on the document below. You many want to get outside and do it or stay in and do some measuring in the comfort of your own home. Please contact us on the chat or by email if you need any help with this.

Reading

Here is your task for today - it is linked to the Bug Club Books you were assigned last week.
