Today we would like you to create a mindfulness fortune teller.
This week we will be continuing to learn about metric measures but during this week we will look at converting metric to imperial units. Your live lesson at 9am will focus on converting cm to inches. You then need to complete the activity below at your relevant level.
For PE today we would like you to login to the Real PE website (find the login details below) and click on the seated balance section, like last week. Once on there, work through the coloured levels again to build up your skills and then have a go at the exchange objects activity.
If you are unable to access the website you could go for a walk, or do some other form of exercise.
This week we have a new set of spelling words. These words end in ‘ably’ and ‘ibly’. Today you need to sort the words into adjectives and adverbs and then identify the spelling rule.
Theme - History
Today you are going to be investigating the question, ‘Who was more vital to landing on the Moon in 1969, Katherine Johnson or Neil Armstrong?’. You need to read the fact files, that have been attached below, conduct some of your own research and then fill in the investigation table appropriately.
You need to complete your relevant level for Number Magic. If you want to challenge yourself, try completing the next level instead.
For reading today we would like you to read the extract that we have uploaded below. Once you have done this, you need to watch the line-by-line video and answer the questions that are asked on it. You will need to make sure you have a piece of paper and pen handy.
For handwriting today, we have attached a video of some joins that we would like you to complete. These will help you with your spelling words for the week.
