Year 3 and 4 Cross Country

24 children from across Year 3 and Year 4 participated in a Cross Country event at Cherry Orchard Primary School. Despite the wet and VERY muddy ground, the rain held off and the children were fantastic! They showed true perseverance and strength throughout each race and could be heard cheering each other on above everyone else. We placed very well overall, coming in at an average of 4^th out of the schools participating and with Thomas (Year 3) achieving 3^rd within his age group, but most importantly we had a lot of smiling and very excited faces - some even asking if they could run again! Well done children, you did us proud.
