In maths this week, we have been looking at subtraction. We would like the children to revise their subtraction knowledge by using this method. They have been learning to subtract a 1 digit number from a 2-digit number across a 10.
Challenge 1 - We would like you to draw the counters on to show the number and then cross them off to show what you are subtracting.
Challenge 2 - We would like you to try the method we talked through, with part, part whole models (look at the top of the page on Challenge 2 to see the method fully).
