Over the last 2 weeks we have been doing lots of work on nouns and verbs and how to use them effectively in our writing. 

 

A noun is a naming word. It can name a person, place, animal or thing.

 

A verb is an action word. 

 

This week, there are two challenges to choose:

 

  • Challenge 1 - Sort the verbs and nouns and then write a sentence about Little Red Riding Hood using the verbs and nouns.

or

  • Challenge 2 - Read the passage about Little Red Riding Hood and underline all of the verbs in blue and all of the nouns in red.
