Today your live lesson will focus on persuasive texts and specifically adverts. Advertising is a great way of showing off a product or service that a company or place can offer.

Later in the week, you will be creating your own advert for the planet that you have been researching and created a fact file for.

Following our live lesson, at 9am, you need to find three different adverts that have been used to make people buy a product or service. When you find these, you need to see what features you can spot from this morning’s session.

Reading

Maths

Today we are going to be looking at multiplication and applying our knowledge of this to solve problems. If you are completing the bronze task you need to watch the video below and work through this. Then complete the activities below.

There is a video in the Video Resource Centre that recaps how to multiply 4-digit by 2-digit numbers to support you.

You need to complete your relevant level for Number Magic. If you want to challenge yourself, try completing the next level instead.

Today we are going to be looking at ‘cious’ and ‘tious’ words. Have a look at the activity below and match the words to the correct ending.

PE

For today’s PE session we would like you complete the Maths on the Move video that we have attached below. You can skip the countdown at the beginning.

This video is great as it helps to combine both Maths and PE.
