Mission Meerkat!
The second half of the term in Year 3 saw us becoming globe-trotting experts and applying for a position with GDI, a company who study geographical, scientific and historical aspects of the world around us. They asked us to help them to follow the movements of Agent M (a highly trained and talented Meerkat) as he collected lots of data connected to Mexico.
This meant that we had to study the Ancient Maya – so we created exhibits for our very own Museum, learnt how to dance like a Mayan warrior and build our own 3D moving artwork – which involved creating our very own Mayan headdresses.
Our mission boards kept us up to date with each completed task and we created our own versions of the very famous Meerkat Mail book to document Agent M’s adventures.
