Below you will find links to the homework for each week. It will be uploaded on a Friday and is due back in on a Wednesday. If you have any questions, please do ask us.
For homework expectations and tips, please check the front inside cover of your child's homework book.
Have a fantastic weekend,
Miss Rogers, Mrs Roebury and Mrs Johnson
Reading
Please read every day, this is part of your weekly homework. This could be a physical book or an online book using Bug Club. You may even want to ask an adult at home to read to you. We should see evidence of what you have been reading in your reading journal. Your reading journal should be in school every day.
Mental Maths Challenge
Every other week, on a Friday, you will take part in a mental maths challenge. On the alternative week, we will be practising the skills needed for each child's math challenge in class. For your homework you should also be practising the skill that we have challenged you to daily. A slip will be sent home with you when you move onto a new challenge, along with a copy of the new challenge format. Make sure you're ready for our next challenge!
Don't forget, if you are on your times tables for your maths challenge, then you can practise these through TT Rockstars!
https://play.ttrockstars.com/auth/school/teacher
Please log into TT Rockstars each week for atleast 15 minutes, even if you are not yet onto your times tables for maths challenge - Times tables are a fundamental part of maths and if you have rapid recall of these, you will find many elements of maths much easier! Your log ins should be stuck into the front of your reading journal.
