Today your mindfulness activity is to tick off everything on this list. You could write what you find next to each point. This mindfulness activity aims to show us all of the happy and positive things we have around us that we often don't stop to notice.

Theme- Writing

Today our writing input will focus on creating an advert to convince Cosmos to take you to the planet of your choice.

We have attached an example, template and success criteria to support you with this task.

When writing your advert, remember to ensure that you really try and convince Cosmos that your planet is the place to be. To do this you will need to use:

• imperative (bossy) verbs; to ensure people know exactly why your planet should be visited
• modal verbs; to explain why your planet must be visited
• exaggerate your points; to make even the smallest thing seem incredibly positive

Theme- Science

Today in science we would like you to learn all about Earth’s natural satellite, the Moon.

First, you need to look at both clips that have been attached below. These detail how the Moon moves around the Earth and why you are only able to see one side of it.

The BBC Bitesize clip even offers you the chance to create your own model moon.

Once you have watched these clips, you need to complete the phases of the Moon task that is also attached below.

Today we are going to be applying our knowledge of division to problems. You need to complete the activities below at your relevant level. You might want to re-watch the video from yesterday to support you.
