This week in maths, we have been continuing our work on measure, measuring in cm and comparing lengths. For homework this week please could you complete either task 1 or 2 which involves measuring objects around the home. 

The children have been working really hard on the play (singing, dancing and acting their hearts out) and can't wait to show you their performance. We have talked this week about projection and making sure their voices can be heard in the hall which is bigger than they're used to. If you could practise this at home with them it would be really appreciated. Also, if you could play the songs, that were put on the website, at home over the next week or so this would really help the children with getting to know the music, actions and lyrics even better.  

Finally, please remember your 10 minutes of TTRS homework. All the children in Year 2  are doing so well with their times tables challenges and its clear that all the hard work is paying off. Let's keep it up! It would be great if we could get EVERYONE completing their TTRS homework every week. Let's see if Year 2 can get a trophy or certificate this term. You can do it Year 2!
