Friday 9th January 2026 - School is open. Please ensure your child wears wellies/walking boots/waterproof shoes and a coat to get to school, and send their school shoes and spare socks/tights in a plastic bag for them to change into on arrival. The site is very slushy. Thank you.

Science Day

In Year 3 through our ‘May the Force be with you’ theme, we have been learning all about light, forces and the human skeleton. As part of this, we had a very exciting Science Day full of explosions, exploration and energy!

 

The children made mini rockets, investigated with lasers and created chemical reactions throughout the day. As part of our learning, we also investigated the jobs of the human skeleton and how it keeps us alive.

 

The day was full of excitement, surprises and learning. A special thanks to ‘Hands on Science’ for delivering our morning workshops.
