In January, we began learning about space. Our classes received a letter from the National Space Centre inviting them to take part in a competition to design and create their own Moon buggy. We've begun learning about the solar system and are keen to continue reading our new class book "The Jamie Drake Equation."
In writing, we're learning a discussion text off by heart about whether humans should venture further into space. In art we will be learning about retrofuturism. In DT we will be learning about the mechanisms involved to make vehicles move. In science, we're learning about forces.
Year 5 will be visiting the Space Centre in the next few weeks, so check back then for photos!
