The children had a visit from Saucepan Man, who told them that all of the leaves are falling off the magical tree. They had the opportunity to design and make their own leaf or flower to hang on the tree.
We then invited members of the children’s families into the Year 1 unit to support the children as they practised their sewing, cutting and joining skills in order to make their designs.
