Wroxeter

Salve! Year 3 were so excited to be able to visit the site of one of the Roman cities mentioned in the diary pages that launched our theme. In its day Wroxeter was one of the largest cities in Roman Britain and we were all excited to see parts of the bathhouse still standing. We were taken on a tour of the bathing complex by a real Roman guide who charged us to take part in each activity. We were also thrilled to be able to explore a replica of a Roman townhouse.
