Week Nine

Hello Year 3.

Welcome to Week Nine of your home learning.

It has been a very busy week in school, with some year groups returning and we have been thinking about you a lot. We hope that you have been keeping yourselves safe, the weather hasn't been quite as good but we hope that it hasn't stopped you enjoying the great outdoors.

Did you enjoy working on your poetry? We enjoyed reading the examples that were shared with us, the work was really effective and you had made great use of the genre. There was some great poetry about the walks you have been taking and the sounds you could hear. Well done. Please continue to ask your parents to share your work with us via Twitter @LyppardSchool @MrsGriffith10 we love seeing it.

We would like to send you all a virtual hug to let you know that we miss you all and that we are thinking about you. When it is safe to return we will see you all again. We loved this short story when we watched it this week, hope you do too.

We are all safe, and busy working in school as well as spending time with our families. We know that it is becoming more and more difficult to be at home for lots of you, and that you are all desperate to spend time with your friends, stay strong and take some time to relax. If things are proving to be just a bit too much try some meditation, go for a walk, try cloud watching, paint a picture, go star gazing, exercise, breathe, speak to friends via Zoom, WhatsApp or similar - take some time out.

This website gives ideas for your mums and dads so that they can help you:

We are so proud of you all, keep up the good work, do your  best  and shine bright like the superstars that we know you are.

Sending huge virtual hugs to you all.
