For Harvest Assembly on Friday 20th October Year 3 will be performing a poem.
This week for Homework we need you to learn the poem below, off by heart – whilst learning it, try to put some actions to some of the key words or phrases. We will then share the actions and decide together which ones to use in the assembly.
Sounds and Syllables
Each week we are going to give you a five words from the Statutory Spelling list. We would like you to use your Sounds and Syllables techniques to Say the Word, Snip into syllables, Say the sounds and draw the sound lines and then check your spellings.
We have included a Technique bookmark to remind you what to do and also a separate answer sheet for parents so that they can support you.
