Hello Year 5,
We hope you and your families have had a safe and productive week at home and enjoyed last week’s activities. This week, we are starting to look at the Titanic and its journey across the Atlantic Ocean. Look in the writing section to find some amazing facts about the colossal ship and how you can put them to good use. Make sure you also check out the Maths section to revisit some of our Year 5 fractions objectives. Remember you can ask your parents to share your amazing work with us on Twitter by tagging @LyppardSchool or @MrMasonTeacher.
As always, don’t worry if you are finding things tricky just try your best with the tasks we have given you and remember how proud of you we are. Make sure you also take the time to ensure you continue to do some of your hobbies. You may want to read to a sibling, take a pet for a walk or design a new game for you and your family to play.
This week, Mr Mason and Miss Harris have begun ringing you at home to catch up and hear about all the amazing things that you have been up to. These calls have been a real treat as they have left us with such big smiles on our faces. We cannot wait to hear from the rest of you over the coming week.
We are all missing you so much and cannot wait to see you soon.
Mr Mason, Miss Harris, Mrs Evans, Mrs Phillips, Mrs McCluskey and Miss Morris J
