Reading

This week, no additional books have been assigned to your child on Bug Club. Instead, there are two texts below that your tasks are focused on. This week your focus is on the two sides of the English Civil War - The Roundheads and The Cavaliers!

There is a Bronze version and a Silver & Gold version of each text, so please ensure that you choose the correct one to read. You will need to read this text and then complete the two tasks on it. 

 

However, if you wish to still go on Bug Club as well as this, then of course you can. 

 

The children also have a reading comprehension task to complete for their relevant challenge. Please see the stars at the bottom of the question pages.

1 star = bronze, 2 stars = silver and 3 stars = gold

The answers are on the PDF underneath each set of questions.
