In school this week we have been learning all about bees. We have learnt why bees are important, why bee numbers are in decline and what we can do to help them! If you weren’t in school or need a reminder, this video will help you out.

For your writing task this week we would like you to write a poem. This can be about anything bee related from pollination to bee friendly gardens. We would also like you to write your poems up in neat, decorating your page with illustrations or a border. There is only one writing task this week because thinking about vocabulary ideas, drafting your poem, writing it up and decorating it should keep you as busy as a bee!
Remember to use your success criteria whilst drafting and improving your poem; it will give you ideas about features that you could include to make your poem BEErilliant!
