Week Six

Welcome back Year 3.

It has been really lovely to speak to you all  over the past three weeks. I know that lots of you have been working hard at your home learning, well done. It has been really lovely to see some of the things you have been doing when your parents have shared them on Twitter. It is also lovely to hear all the other things you have been doing, it seems the last six weeks have been the perfect time to learn to ride a bike, that is a real achievement. We also know that many of  you have been learning to bake and also helping out at home in many other ways. We are so proud of you all for staying safe and happy.

We hope that you enjoyed designing and creating your own games last week. When we return to school we can have lots of fun playing them.

How many of you managed to celebrate VE Day over the weekend? You could ask your parents  to share some of your celebrations on Twitter @LyppardSchool, we would love to see them. Mrs Griffith and her girls made a lot of bunting for the front of her house and then baked some delicious cakes before sharing a tea party together dressed in 1940's inspired outfits. Miss Goss created a huge splatter painting with her son using red and blue paint, she then used this to decorate her house and ate a picnic in her garden.

We are also very excited to announce that Mrs Stevens had her baby on 4th May. His name is George William and both mum, dad and baby George are doing really well. I am sure that when we are all able to meet together safely again Mrs Stevens will bring George in to meet you all. heart

Enjoy this weeks activities. Stay safe. Try to get some fresh air when you can.
