Week Four

Hello Year 2!

We hope that you and your families are well and that you are enjoying spending more time together. We also hope that you enjoyed last week’s home learning activities. We’re sure you’ve written some fabulous friend poems and we can’t wait to see what imaginative pet you described for your missing pet poster!

We have created lots of new activities for you to have a go at this week. As always, just do what you can and don’t worry if you don’t get through it all! It’s important that you have fun with your families too. Miss Bevand is excited to hear whether you can beat her highscore of 64 (she was quite proud of herself) in the ‘Division Maths Road Hopper’ game. Find the link for it in the Maths sections and be sure to use Twitter to share your results! Can you beat any of her other high (and not so high) scores? We’ve also set you a new art-based task this week which we really hope that you will enjoy. Find it in the writing task two and make sure you share your masterpieces with us on Twitter!

It’s great to see that lots of you have been using Times Tables Rock Stars! For those of you who are feeling confident and want a challenge, try out a Rock Slam! Go to play in the normal place and then select Rock Slam under the multiplayer heading. You can challenge your friends or even Miss Bevand or Mrs Tilley! surprise

We’re missing you lots and wondering what you’ve been up to so over the next couple of weeks we will be phoning you to say hello and have a little catch up! Please don’t worry if you don’t hear from us straight away! We will call all of you!

Have a lovely week, take care of yourselves and your families and keep smiling!

Miss Bevand, Mrs Tilley, Mrs Carrier, Mrs Baldwin and Miss Davis xx
