The Lyppard Grange Primary School Empowering children to be secure, engaged and equipped for life.

Week 14

Hi Year 6,

The time has finally come for us to say goodbye…we hope to see most of you in school this week, if you are able to come in, and we will mark the end of your time with us. However, we know some of you are still at home, so we want to wish you all the best for your exciting new journeys at high school and tell you how much we have loved teaching you, seeing you smile and watching you learn and grow (both in confidence and height!) while you have been at Lyppard.

The home learning tasks for this week are all in the usual places for you to access. As we have said all along, try your best and do what you can. As we move into the summer break it is important that you do try to keep your brains active ready for your move to high school, so keep reading lots, do some writing when you can and keep your mathematical skills ticking over with trips to the shops or maths games, but also drink lots of water, get some sleep and take time to relax and have fun too. All of the websites we have been flagging up over the last few weeks will still be available, so there is lots you can do to keep your brains in tip top condition.

All that remains for us to say is how immensely proud of you we are for all you have achieved whilst you have been with us, the way you have coped for the last few months and for the wonderful young people you are growing up to be. We will miss each and every one of you, but want to wish you all the best as you move on to the next exciting chapter of your life.

Shine bright and dream big,

love from

Miss Taylor, Mrs Groves, Mrs Robinson, Mrs Taylor, Mrs Saul-Clayton and Mrs Brookes
