This week you are all have a new text to read on Bug Club, except Golds, who are continuing with Jack No Name. The tasks will tell you which pages to read.
We have been doing lots of reading during lockdown and we really hope that you have been too; we can't wait to hear about your favourite reads or new books you have discovered!
Don't forget to keep checking any words you don't understand, either by asking an adult or using a dictionary, particularly as a couple of groups have historical texts, with some old fashioned language in them. There are many excellent online versions, but we would recommend Collins CoBuild. (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english)
You also have a reading comprehension task to complete about Wimbledon.
1 star = bronze, 2 stars = silver and 3 stars = gold.
