Friday 1st April 2022

Homework due Wednesday 6th April.

Make sure that you are reading everyday.

You could read a physical book or you could use Bug Club.

It is important that any reading you do is recorded in your reading journal but most important of all, try to read to enjoy the power and magic of a good book.

Who could you read to today? Who could read to you?

Maths Challenge

Practise the times table we have given you. You must be able to recall it out of order and within five seconds. You will need to be able to complete both multiplication and division questions for your given times table. Make sure you're ready for the challenge!

Part of your homework is to log on to TTRockstars to help with learning your tables, YOU NEED TO DO THIS FOR AT LEAST  10 MINUTES EVERYDAY. As usual there is a Battle of the Bands between 3HB and 3SG. Who will win this week? Will it be 3HB or 3SG?

Whole school TT Rockstars Battle

It's that time in the term again.

WE are in competition with the rest of Key Stage 2 to see who can be the winners of a WHOLE school Battle of the Bands. You have until next Thursday to complete as many challenges and score as many points as you can. Every time you log on and take part in your challenges you can help your class to win! Can your class be the top class this term? Will you be in the top 3 from across the whole school. Can you beat your older brother or sister? Come on Year 3 we can win this!!!

Reading Comprehension

This week we would like you to complete a Reading comprehension for your homework, it is all about Fossils.

There are three levels of the task, you only need to complete one of them.

Please base your choice upon your confidence and reading ability. Some of you will find that the Bronze task suits you best, most of you should be completing the Silver task but some of you  will feel ultra confident and complete the Gold Task.

Whichever task you choose make sure you read the text through carefully first and then use it to help you answer the questions as fully as you can.
