Normally it is not a good thing if you are told you ‘have your head in the clouds’ but this week we are positively encouraging it! Your creative task will give you several different ideas for tasks you could complete and should provide you with all the inspiration you need to complete your writing tasks.
Your writing is focused on poetry and looking at how you can use language to create imagery to put a vivid picture in the reader’s head. If you choose to write your poem out by hand, please think carefully about your handwriting. It is very easy to get out of the habit of neat writing, particularly when you have not been at school for a while. Perhaps you may want to write your poem out in neat once it is finished, to really focus on those handwriting skills. Alternatively, you may prefer to perform your poems out loud for someone at home - you could even get them to record you.
