Week Six

Hello Year 5,

We hope you have had a lovely week and you and your families enjoyed the VE Day celebrations. Additionally, we hope you’ve been able to access and complete as much of the work as possible. Remember don’t worry if you are finding things tricky just try your best.

Mr Mason has been creating a homemade lava lamp, been on lots of walks and has thoroughly enjoyed watching old football and basketball highlights on TV.

Miss Harris has been walking up the Malvern Hills, had a Harry Potter Marathon and has purchased a new cook book (we are all looking forward to trying out her new recipes).

Mrs Evans has been reading, dreaming of going on holiday and has cut her son’s hair.

Mrs Phillips has been spending lots of time in the garden, has been practising her darts skills and took part in a family darts tournament.

Mrs McCluskey has perfected her pizza recipe (the pictures look amazing) and has taken to bird watching in her back garden.

Miss Morris has been enjoying time in her garden and held a quarantine-style birthday party for her eldest daughter on Friday.

If you are looking for extra things to do over this period make sure you look at the ‘Useful Websites’ page. You could also try and complete some of the Super Movers videos at https://www.bbc.co.uk/teach/supermovers.

The work for this week has been uploaded in the relevant sections below.

We are all missing you so much and can’t wait to see you all soon!
