This week we are continuing to look at the video clip of the girl and the robot (link below). We would like you to rewatch the clip and then try and create a diary entry from the scientist’s perspective (Writing Task 1).

We have also attached a separate PDF that contains an example diary entry and would like you to read this prior to writing your own to ensure you are familiar with the features and devices that are used in this style of writing. Depending on your level of work you will have to complete a slightly different diary entry so make sure that you read your level’s instructions carefully and have also written a short start to a diary entry that you could use for support and inspiration.
For Writing Task 2 we would then like you to create your own advert for your invention (that you designed and made instructions for last week) that stands out and persuades people to buy it.
We have attached an example advert in the PDF below along with success criteria for your relevant level.
