The Lyppard Grange Primary School Empowering children to be secure, engaged and equipped for life.

Week 11

Hi Year 6,

We hope you are all doing well and that you are still smiling through this very strange time. We will be making contact with all the children who have not been back into school over the next couple of weeks and look forward to hearing about everything you have been up to.

Whether you have been back into school or are still completing your learning at home, we want you to know how very proud of you we are. We are sure you are trying your best with the work we are setting in order to keep your brains active and ready for high school. Your tasks for this week are in the usual folders and remember, you can access all of the lessons on Oak National Academy too to supplement your learning. Here is the link again: https://classroom.thenational.academy/subjects-by-year/year-6/ We look forward to hearing how you have got on with all the tasks. Remember, you can always tweet your work to @LyppardSchool.

In amongst your work and relaxation, don’t forget to make time to practise our leavers’ song – the lyrics and music are in Week 10’s folder. Our plan is to make a recording of you all singing the song. We will record each of the groups who are in school, but if you are not currently coming into school and would like to be part of the song, please send an audio recording of you singing (it is fine to have the version with Mrs Groves singing on quietly in the background) and by the magic of technology we will merge everyone’s voices together into one beautiful song! Please send these recordings into the school office [email protected]

Take care and keep smiling,

Miss Taylor, Mrs Groves, Mrs Robinson, Mrs Taylor, Mrs Saul-Clayton and Mrs Brookes
