Year 6, this week you all have a new text to read on Bug Club. As usual, it tells you in the task which page to read up to and your tasks have been uploaded below. We really hope that you are using this time to read as much as you can - not only will it really help you to keep your brains active and ready to learn, but it is also a fantastic opportunity to escape into new worlds of imagination and possibility, or gather a whole raft of new facts!
Don't forget to keep checking any words you don't understand, either by asking an adult or using a dictionary. There are many excellent online versions, but we would recommend Collins CoBuild. (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english)
You also have a reading comprehension task to complete about Alice in Wonderland. This is a lovely book by Lewis Carroll and if the activity inspires you to read the whole text, then there are two options below - either the audio version available on Audible, or a graphic novel version, complete with lots of pictures.
