This week we will continue to learn about time.
Now that you have mastered telling the time to o’clock and half past, we will move on to telling the time to quarter past and quarter to the hour.
There will be three days of time related activities for you to complete.
Day 1
Work through the Powerpoint which explains how to tell the time to quarter past and quarter to the hour.
Now join in with this SUPERMOVERS all about time!

For you activity read the times shown on the faces of the analogue clocks.
Day 2
Today you will be drawing the minute and hour hands on to analogue clocks to show quarter to and quarter past the hour. Remember the minute hand is longer than the hour hand!
You can use the clocks you made at school last week to help you with drawing the hands on the clock faces.
Day 3
Now that you can read the time to quarter to and quarter past the hour you can challenge yourself to answer some reasoning and problem solving questions about these times.
Throughout the week you can also consolidate your knowledge of o’clock, half past, quarter to and quarter past. On some games you can even challenge yourself to telling the time in intervals of 5 minutes.
