Maths

 

For Maths this week, we are looking at addition and subtraction.  We have set the children some daily problems and 5 a day calculations for them to complete at their relevant level. Below are some games for the children to also have a go at:

 

 

  • BBC bite size- Guardians: Defenders of Mathematica
  • BBC Bite size have over 40 clips explaining addition and subtraction. Go to Year 5 Maths and scroll the addition and subtraction. There you will also find several games.
  • Top Marks website- category 7-11, addition and subtraction games

 

 

Game:

This week, we have attached a Pirate Maths challenge for you to collect the clues to discover where the missing treasure is!

 

 

 

KS2 Times Table Rockstar:

We would like the children to continue to practise their times tables skills on Times Table Rockstar. Their login in for this is stuck to the inside of their Home Learning Books and the children will be set new sessions weekly, so make sure you login in to stay up to date.
