Your child is either continuing to read the text they were set last week on Bug Club, or has been set a new text. We have told them within the tasks the page we would like them to read up to and they should complete the Bug questions as they go along.
Additionally, we would also like them to complete the differentiated reading tasks that have been attached below. These are based on the book that they have been assigned on Bug Club. There are 2 bronze tasks, so children who have been assigned this colour will need to check which of the two books they have been assigned on Bug Club and then complete the relevant task. Please remind them the importance of checking on words they don't understand, either by asking an adult or using a dictionary. The children also have a reading comprehension task to complete:
1 star = bronze, 2 stars = silver and 3 stars = gold.
