“Ola” and “Adios”
It was a pleasure to play host to our friends from Huesca in Spain as children and staff from our partner school, San Vicente, visited us this week. Monday was spent in school with the Spanish children working alongside our pupils in classes throughout the school to get a taste of education in Britain, then Tuesday was a time to have fun with our Year 6 pupils on a day out at West Midlands Safari Park. With friendships formed they set out together again on Wednesday, this time venturing into Worcester city centre to undertake a treasure hunt by which they discovered a world of historical secrets that are always there but often unnoticed! Their visit ended with a football and rounders tournament at school followed by a BBQ before farewells were shared. Though brief the visit, friendships were forged but most importantly memories made which will last a lifetime.
