KIRF - To count in 50s and 100s.

This half tern our KIRF is to be able to count in 50s and 100s both forward and back.

Spend some time each day practising this skill. The Parent's guide gives some ideas as to how you might do this in different ways. Try to spend between 5 and 10 minutes every day. 

There is also a task for you to do to help you with learning this skill.

Use the same colour task as the one that you complete in Number Magic.

This means that most people should be working on the Silver Task. Only those who normally do Bronze in Number Magic should be doing this. If you fancy a but more of a challenge you could try Gold. 

You only need to complete one of the tasks!

Sounds and Syllables

It is important that your child spends time learning the words given in this section of their homework as these words form part of the Statutory Spelling list for Year 3 and 4 and may well feature in future formal assessments.

They are also really useful words to know how to spell when writing. 

Each week we are going to give you a five words from the Year 3/4 Statutory Spelling list, this is a list of spellings that you need to be able to spell accurately by the time you leave Year 4.
