Building Update

As the building work begins to reach it’s final stages and all of the new sections to our school start to take shape, let us update you on the progress. We had hoped to have the hall finished and handed back to us by the end of the May half term break but this has not been possible. The exterior wall is in place and the old exterior wall has been demolished but work on merging the new with the old continues. This will, unfortunately, impact on Discos, which will not take place in July as planned. There is intense work on the new block and whilst our contractors are signalling the possibility of a slight over-run on the project, we all remain hopeful of completion in time for the new academic year in September. The new block is now glazed and the first fix of mechanical and electrical services is well under-way. Plaster board is being fixed and the finishes palette has been agreed.
