This wasn’t just one of the songs that they sang, it was what our Key Stage 2 choir did when they performed on the main stage at the Worcester Victorian Fayre on Thursday evening. Fifty children represented the school and wowed crowds with their beautiful singing, confident performance and impeccable behaviour. The harmonies were perfect and the two soloists did themselves proud as their voices rang out over the microphones, filling the streets around the stage. Parents and families clapped along to the lively numbers and shed tears of pride to the gentler songs, but members of the public also passed on their comments about the magic the children of Lyppard Grange had brought to their Christmas. We were incredibly proud of them all and look forward to hearing them sing again when they visit Perry Manor Care Home, St Richard’s Hospice and Tesco over the next few weeks. |
